Since the beginning, intentionality has shaped every aspect of what we create. From our interior design and seating to our drinks, pastries, food, and even the apparel we craft. We prioritize quality above all else, using the finest ingredients, preparing nearly everything in-house, and selecting natural materials whenever possible.

We are committed to doing everything with care and good intentions. Using premium ingredients such as Belgian chocolates, French butters, and thoughtfully sourced coffee beans is the standard around which we have built our brand. From our bakery to our beverages, everything we serve is made in-house.

By creating our own and unique recipes, and overseeing every step of the process, we’re able to deliver a taste that truly reflects who we are and what we stand for.

We built this café and bakery to give Providence a daily experience that feels special, intentional, and unlike anything else around. From design to ingredients to in-house recipes, we obsess over quality and craft at every step. And we’re here to create a space that brings the community together

We place a strong emphasis on simple, yet powerful, timeless designs that can be passed down for generations. Our mission is to create a variety of elevated pieces that can be worn every day, while simultaneously creating standout pieces that push the boundaries of what a café-based ecosystem can be.

Both our clothing, and accessories are made to feel like a natural extension of the brand, allowing our guests to take a part of Brown Bee anywhere. Each piece is made using the highest quality fabrics, and assembled using our cut-and-sew process. Every product is made with a clear connection to who we are as Brown Bee.

Our Team

We take pride in showcasing the incredible talent coming out of Johnson & Wales University which is why our team is made up of talented local culinary professionals. Executive Pastry Chef Alisia brings both her Johnson & Wales background and training in France to create our signature pastries. Ashley, our Manager of Operations, shapes the front-of-house experience and oversees our drink recipes. Nick leads creativity in the bakery, developing new and inspired pastry creations. Together, they bring skill, passion, and local expertise to everything we do.
